Kindness is non-negotiable

Practice kindness to the pith. Your present state is an outcome of your past deeds and your future would be shaped by what you indulge in today. All said and done, many a times we get carried away by a flicker of sentiment and put our thinking neurons to hibernation; an outburst of anger, hatred or revenge follows and we, inadvertently, become the destructors of our destinies. The paroxysms of anger have always resulted in bad blood; one must take a pause and think about the situation from an altogether different perspective.

Human life is a constant struggle for achieving the state of nothingness; a state where you become empty inside as you contain everything. Quite an oxymoron, but that is the truth of life; when you seek refuge in worldly emotions, you keep on getting jolts, one after another. When you stop reacting to distracting stimulus and invest in true emotions, such as love, hope and kindness, you start experiencing as if the nature is breathing in tandem with you. Life is a bouquet of wild roses and life is an assortment of poisonous thorns; the perception of life depends on your perspective and thought process.

Kindness is the non-negotiable law of nature. Most of the awe-inspiring and heaven-sent experiences happen when you display abundance of kindness. To forgive is kindness; to sacrifice is kindness; the beatific display of abundant care is kindness; non-violence is kindness; respecting others’ mental spheres is kindness; to lessen others’ burdens is kindness. Practicing kindness comes as an addiction to those who derive the psychic pleasures out of it; when you start contributing to Mother Nature’s equilibrium of energies by practicing kindness, you truly shine out as the most resplendent diamond.

Memoirs of early years

I remember an incidence when I had just started my hospital. There came a patient, a rather young male who had just entered in his thirties, after being suffered multiple burn injuries by getting inflicted with high tension wires. At the time of his admission, the likelihood of his survival was pretty miserable in view of clinical state. He had sustained about 60% burns that contained both superficial and deep ones. The patient stayed at my hospital for about 6 weeks and emerged out a winner. I could not gather a single moment when I saw him getting hopeless or dull; he had this verve of life – a superfluous one. At the time of discharge, his total hospital bill was about Rs 94,000. Though we have this rule of getting payments deposited as the expenditures soar high, we don’t follow this rule with finicky attire. This is one rule that has been kept flexible; especially for the poor patients, I have instructed my staff to practice more compassion than what is the usual norm. This patient had deposited Rs 24,000 in his hospital’s account and was left with no more money. He explained this to me and said he is not in a position to return me the balance amount.

I was curious to know why he did not opt to get his treatment done at some of the government hospital where expenses would have been far less and they even have separate burn care units with specialists 24X7. He responded after a long silence with lachrymose eyes and a heavy heart. What he said was enough to bolster my amour proper to a significant extent. He said ,” Sir, I am really sorry for not being able to pay you back for the services that you provided me when I needed them most. The moment you first attended me, I knew I was in exceptionally safe and capable hands. Had I not been in a penny-pinching state, I would have merrily given you the balance sum, and I promise to return it back to you in the years to come. What you have done to me is angelic and now I believe my mother’s words that used to stress over the fact that one comes across angels and demons in flesh and blood. I am yet to see a person as self-sacrificing as you.”

With years of social experience it does not take me a long time to decipher what’s going on in a person’s mind as he speaks a certain sentence. I was sure that this person stayed at my hospital in spite of not having any money because he trusted me with his life. I patted him on his back and told him to attend the follow up sessions on time. The moment he was about to leave my consultation room, I whispered softly that I don’t need the balance amount from him. Even before I could have finished my statement, he was brought in to tears. He cried for a long time and I consoled him. That is what I say a seraphic relationship. Beyond the description of ordinary words; the more I see life, the more I want to indulge in such selfless relationships where you only spread hope, love and compassion. Had I not been a doctor, I would certainly have not been able to experience the tranquility that peeps in my life from such sacrosanct experiences.

5 ways to become optimistic

Seek opportunities in doleful moments: Don’t wait for the right moment to fall in your lap like an autumn leaf; you have to go after an opportunity with a club. You might come across a rather doleful period in your life, but that shouldn’t stop you from thinking about the brighter horizons that lie just ahead of it. Fill your faith in an opportunity and fail to bite the dust. Give yourself for a cause and hold eternal belief in it, no matter what way the tides are flowing. Sometimes, it takes a conscious effort to waft away the clouds of uncertainties, in order to pave way for the rainbow of optimism.

Keep yourself surrounded by a horde of enthusiasts: Our mind processes the environmental stimuli with precision, and in a determined way. Chances are that more you keep in the company of dull and pessimistic folks, you would feel burdened without any precise reasons. That’s why it is said that keep yourself surrounded by hope and humor; a simulating music can do wonders to uplift your spirits. Optimism has to be cultivated sometimes, and being in the company of positive people is just acts as a catalyst. Make it a mission to dodge the pessimism in its entirety; if you are not able to find a happy face, create one.

Invest in Love: Love is said to be the most fundamental emotion that Mother Nature had to offer. In every religion, enough has been said about the significance of love; it is an amulet that transforms lives. Reminisce the moments of pure love that happened in your life frequently; train yourself to deal every little problem of your life with something that ‘love’ is a part of. When you become conditioned to ‘love’ unconditionally, you would find yourself soaked in the glory of optimism. Love and optimism are inseparable and grow synergistically.

Be Spiritually guided: I am sure most of us understand that the purpose of life is not just to earn, eat and pass away; it has more meanings to it. If you, even for a minute, tend to take your mind away from all the worldly worries and focus on your own inner self, chances are that you would feel energized and confident. Invest faith in the true meaning of life; you are here to spread the optimism, love, hope and faith, the rest of the things that are important to live a life would follow on their own. One can be experience spiritual rendezvous sitting on the office desk, in the crowded market yard and even in the face of the toughest adversity of one’s life.

Expect a little from people around: Every person has its own set of DNA; every one can not fall straight to your expectations. Realize this fact and save yourself from some unnecessary worries which mount to feeling of exhaustion, hopelessness and dejection. Your purpose is to make your life a joy ride by least interfering, or being least affected with other person’s ways of living. Do your best to transform lives, but don’t carry expectations; for when expectations are marred, negativity can announce its birth. Explore your higher centers of thinking and don’t get affected by criticism, hypocrisy or failures.

15 things to inspire people surrounding you

  1. Lead by example; the scarcity of actions makes grandiloquent words bite weed-infestated dust.
  2. Show that you care; no matter the step is little or grand, it would create a change.
  3. Motivate people to see a different perspective of the situation
  4. Always keep yourself levelheaded; even a sea-diver knows the importance of respecting the levels.
  5. Be value-centric. Invest in love; belief and hope.
  6. Remain focused while you speak. Reduce the fluff from your talk.
  7. Don’t judge people by their acts. Circumstances can make a ferocious lion go vegan.
  8. Take interest in people’s lives; they would love to be cared and thought about.
  9. Practice patience; what else is the essence of all those ‘how-to’ best-sellers?
  10. Don’t have an air of authority. Remain approachable.
  11. Be a superstar with kids.
  12. Listen to the unsaid gaps. Don’t be all hat and no cattle.
  13. Be courteous and respectful to elders.
  14. Treat everyone equally; we are all descendants of one lineage.
  15. Don’t expect people to follow your words.

Please forgive me.

Forgive more often. Hatred is an emotion that seems benign and well justified, but comes with a kitty of malicious implications. People are not bad or biased; there natural reactions to the tough circumstances make them that way. By saying ‘tough circumstances’, I mean the circumstances which bear potential to change the course of anything following them, by virtue of decisions taken at that very moment. Not everyone is mentally conditioned to behave in a composed way in these challenging moments.

Give someone a flower. Send someone a sorry message. Arrange someone a welcome party. Forgive someone pretending you came out unaffected by something that arose due to one’s actions. We are all born to love, to spread hope and faith. It must not be in our nature to behave beast like, for to know the meaning of life, one must identify one’s spiritual level, and then to get it kiss the possible pinnacle. Don’t think yourself high and mighty for we all are born the same; nothing demarcates our basic characters except our mental frameworks which get twisted indifferent ways in response to a variety of emotional stimuli.

By carrying hatred in your breast, you would diminish someone’s chances of self-realization. Take a step ahead in embracing someone who caused you agony at some point of time. It would take away heaps of stress from your mind; and who knows if you just induced a life-changing moment in someone’s life by your kind gesture? To forgive is akin to give birth. You give birth to unbridled positivity and a sea of love. Don’t expect much in return for then the motive would be selfish; do your deed and keep walking ahead. In the journey of life, you must get rid of all the redundant burdens that slow down your momentum. Cruise forward with a big heart; come closer to the stark realities of life. You are meant to sow seeds of positivity, compassion, love and hope in the minds of people you come across. Mother Nature is watching your every deed; give her reasons to smile more often.

The Glow Of Red Bulb

I seldom think about the cerebral calisthenics happening outside the operation theatre. The relatives of patients waiting mutely with anxious gazes; seems so contemptible. There can be no pertinent portrayal of what happens in the numb minds in those crucial hours. The leviathan wait just seems a tunnel with no light. Feelings of belonging, affection, care, hope all form a broth; so close to the nectar of life. Divine, pure and subliminal. Everyone prays differently; some chant feverishly, some succumb to silent soliloquy, some let their faith pace ahead of time to conquer the peaceful news for them, some leave it all to their karma and almighty. The prodigal emotions are invoked ardently with no premeditated effort.

People experience some of the biggest soul-stirring moments outside operation theatre, waiting for their loved ones to come out safely and cured. Most of the times the wait just seems cruel, heartless and never-ending; anxious calls are made to staff nurses and doctors to get a pie of the real news. The Operation Theatre has an unyielding heart of rock; it sees the most piteous sentiments; it transforms the bodies (and the souls). Relativity of time can be experienced best while warming the waiting seat with a constant effort to ward away the negative thoughts that loom vehemently. The anticipation seems agonizingly aberrant. Unpleasant incidents often have a heart of gold and they tend to transform the ordinary metal; the ordinary people.

An Evening To Remember

The orange light of nature’s traffic lane. Evening is the tune of addiction. Who hates an evening? It’s a flash in the pan before all is covered with a black blanket. A cathedral of pre-retirement. The bed of young rainbows. The lain of infatuation.

Flocks of hymning birds trespassing the kingdom of sky with stubborn spirit, sips of coffee with whips of thick cream, tubs of peppery popcorn with naughty aroma, vapors of infectious playfulness whirling the little parks and playgrounds, the army of roadside assortment of eateries squealing their larynx out, the sight of a an ordinary human returning back from a hard day’s work, the evening is a precious environment.

Evening is otherworldly. The lumbar bone of the day. A moment when you switch from day light to dark night. Things which define the day refrain the knock of evening, but to gradually succumb to the hypnotic hymns that reverberate in the evening’s soul. The lilt of the reddened sun seeks shelter in the broad wings of evening, and tranquility starts floating. Watch the evening and forget yourself.

5 reasons why I blog

It’s not long before that I used to read others’ blogs and wondered what it takes to be a blogger. The obvious hurdles always frightened me and I tended to restrain putting my best feet forward. Then a fine morning, I thought to write a short and snappy piece and review the response. Now it’s 25 posts and going. Here are 5 reasons why I blog.

1. To water my withering thoughts

We tend to engross in the usual chores so hard that the presence of paranormal realities fail to stir us. Thoughts wilt and we shrink ourselves, an inundated truth. I thought to revisit the lanes of my mind where certain pockets were waiting to be explored and this blog took birth.

2. It’s ‘IN’ to be a blogger

Anything new & worth trying in the block thrills me to the core. I started blogging just to savor the experience and it rocked. What more, It’s helpful for the people who just happened to come across some of my post and wanted to read something similar.

3. To be rendered keen eyes

I always wanted to be given devoted ears and eyes, and now I have got them (my audience)! It is a rousing feel to know that people are actually reading your thoughts.

4. Bypass the editorial quibbling and be the sovereign

It really is like having my own little diary which is kept open for the people to have a glance and scribble their opinions. No hassles of getting the final-proof from the editorial seat, I decide the content, I write the content and I publish the content. Ha !!

5. I am addicted to blogging now

It never happened to hit me in the beginning but as I indulged, I have fallen prey. It’s a coercive power which forces me to take out some time from my schedule, sit down and write. It’s a lovely little feeling and a very revivifying one. No amount of caffeine has invigorated me enough than to see my little piece being fed into the gut of blogger.

The quintessence of a woman

A woman annihilates the fretful spurt of sorrows. Electrifies and enkindles with egregious energy. Blessed with great capacity to feel love and greater capacity to cope up with pain. There is in every true woman's heart, a flicker of divine fire with cadence, which lies quiescent in the shining dawn of prosperity, but which ignites up and blazes furiously in the sinister hour of hard times.

A woman is God’s simplified portrayal of nature, enveloped in skin & soul. A woman has different colors of conscience, different hues of minds and different streaks of sentiments all amalgamated in divine proportions. As innocent as the whitest small cloud floating with glee in the enormous sky. A guardian angel in the road, helping the elders and guiding the toddlers with unweaving attention. Jack of all trades and master of many.

Bejeweled by the imperturbable halo of mercy and compassion. The self assured equilibrium amidst the mid of chaos garlands the essence of womanhood. Hides swarms of suffering beneath the superficial gleam of smile. The combatant in disguise, the hermit in holy elation. Woman is a magic potion for mammoth malevolence. When a woman comes to her glass, she does not employ her time in making herself look more advantageously what she really is, but endeavors to be as much another creature as she possibly can. Woman is the allegory of woven beams of hope and help.

Woman's mind
Oft' shifts her passions, like th'inconstant wind;
Sudden she rages, like the troubled main,
Now sinks the storm, and all is calm again.

Before moon, Afternoon

What a better joy than stealing a subtle snooze after succulent lunch, to watch the catapulting crowd from the glass pane of your sky scraper, to listen to frenzied fracas of your kids on phone, to await the pleasant knock of evening with luscious, foamy coffee amidst an disorganized whirl of chirps, to plan for the arcane of approaching activities for the day ahead, the afternoon fills the vacuum of our life and gives us some tame time to replenish our minds with the scuttled supply of freshly secreted neurotransmitters.

Post pubertal phase of the day, afternoon, is like middle age of our lives. It is passed with little realization of its presence and we seldom halt our hollering steps to appreciate the effervescent efficacy of afternoon. With the superfluous streamlet of fresh morning before it and the sulky shadows of nubile night after it, the afternoon is mostly shorn of of its existential importance. But I love to soak myself in the rapture of immeasurable perspectives that aftermath of morning provides.

The afternoons provide us a much needed buffer from the pulsating mornings full of fuss and frills and from the esoteric establishment of mystifying nights. It’s so pleasant to appreciate the slow pace of clock pendulums, to feel the tender tentacles of easy-flowing breeze, to organize the disordered cords of dust-worn guitar, to cuddle up with the cushy soft toy you were gifted by your spouse, to sip the fizzy lemonade and let your taste buds bathe in ecstasy. The afternoons are big-hearted and breathtakingly sensuous, provided you make some attempt to swirl your soul from the accustomed attachments with mornings and nights.

Moaning Morning...

The timorous darkness of the massive night fall prey to the rising roars of dawn with scintillating hues of unlimited colors. This morning appeared bathed in abundance of hope and happiness. This is the time to unleash the spirit and the Beaujolais, to uncork the veiled wishes and radiate ardently with the hope of tranquility on earth and kindness to all its citizens. New Delhi chill is yet again having its pre-geriatric spurts, arguably the most totemic ones, and the valor of frothy fog rules the spaces of the city.

The sound of bunched newspaper hitting the roofs and floors, the glow and blush of toddlers barely able to hold their mothers’ hand and waiting for the school bus, the cantankerous cab drivers relaxing after the marauding spell of screeching the highs and lows of the road, the fumes of freshly brewed ginger tea springing from the aluminum pot with black bottom, the infectious vigor in the public parks with a sight full of joggers, yoga buffs and bird watchers, Delhi Metro being hoarded with eclectic horde with floating frowns, brooding bellies and imprudent squeak of airy annoyance, we live in a city which deserves bowing salutes for its rich diversity and impeccable capability to keep pace with hurriedly changing times.

The moaning mist of morning refuses to keep mute, the sparks of shines striking windowpanes stagger in a riot of colors, the traffic signals start witnessing edgy sedans making jittery sounds, the mobile towers start getting pre-term labor and the cell phone signals start fading furiously, the coat of smog steals the real vision and ruby red turns into lathered pink, the temples are brought to life with earsplitting chants and sounds very close to those of primordial fusion rock, welcome to the high rise morning of New Delhi. Let’s make a joyous day till the sun drops in the ocean again and moon swells proudly and let’s make an easy night to observe yet again jaunty and idyllic morning.

Paranormal Poise

The food is more delicious when it is cooked with calm psyche and ample of interest.

It’s a fine morning, you wake up humming a long forgotten tune, and only to find that song is being telecasted in TV at the moment.

You remember an old pal and your phone sings (Its him/her).

Your computer system gets down, the moment some special person works on it. (And it happens everytime)

You feel someone’s presence nearby when you are physically alone in the house.

You feel an instant connection with a stranger and feel happy beyond boundaries.

Certain sights, though ordinary in their merits, remain embedded to your memory lifelong and you keep on forgetting the occurrences which are reasonably important.

Fits of laughter chose you over a PJ (Pun Joke).

The pets somehow smell the impending crisis and start behaving anxiously weird before you have a clue.

Serenity sweeps in the moment we enter a place of worship.

Your first instinct almost always is right, no matter how incongruous it seems at its appearance.

You remain hostile to some people though they tend to do their best to get into your skin.

You wake up very fresh on some oblivious days and wake up very tired on some very important days.

Do we chose the color of our clothes or do the colors chose us?

You make a mute wish for the person moving ahead of you to exchange a glance and he/she turns to make it happen.

You and your friend spurt similar phrase altogether, which was unrelated to your ongoing communication.

When you try to become aware of your breathing pattern, you tend to become breathless.

Don’t sink, keep swimming

When you seek unending source of discipline, look out for the sun. It blooms up every morning to salute us lesser mortals and showers shines in our lives with no casual breaks. And it has been doing this for millions of years (may be more), perfect example of bleeding discipline.

When you seek unending source of inspiration, look out for the bunch of cacti. With virtually no water or minerals beneath their roots, they continue to extract the best from sand and remain plump happy.

When you seek unending source of hope, look out for the face of an ailing person, who knows about the notoriety of underlying terminal illness, yet makes attempts with gusto to keep the spirits of acquaintances flowing high. (I witness it so often in medical practice and it strengthens my belief that faith flows in defined direction, it multiplies in its magnitude and produces effects appreciated by eyes and mind)

When you seek unending source of belonging, just try to feel what your mother must have gone through emotionally and what dreams she must have crafted and protected for you with eyes full of high hopes when you were cocooned in the womb.

When you seek unending source of happiness, look out for a bunch of teenagers, who chuckle & chirp with their eyes full of glitters, oblivious to the sweltering realities of life.

When you seek unending source of dynamism, just think what the heck our primordial 2 cells undergo to produce a body full of 100 trillion cells.

When you think lost in the lanes of learning a new language, Try imagining a member of the royal family of Thailand. Deeply revered by the Thai people, the royal family speaks a private and ancient language known only to themselves and a privileged few.

Spare 60 dedicated seconds of your life with closed eyes to think about the unfortunate folks who are devoid of sight and you will understand the power of blessing (that you have been bestowed with)

When you think you do enough hard work, think of ants. They travel 1.09 km in a day, and going by the approximate size ratio of 1:660, an average person must walk for approximate 720 km a day. Have you ever done this? (Will you ever attempt this?)

End of turbulence

What appears a shell to the naked eyes can be visualized as a cosmic congregartion of indefinite particles by the knowing souls. We, ordinary humans, tend to see the things in their entirety thus overlooking or missing the finer details. Our minds are processed in this way that we associated ourselves with objects, rather than appreciating the minutest structure responsible for its creation. As its hypothesized (and proved as well) that mass is nothing but a package of energy particles, so what we see is what we are processed to see, thus overlooking the structures responsible for the overall appearance and character. That happens in real life as well, always. Our minds are preoccupied with gross thoughts and we most often deduce our assumptions which are not correct when visualized in the finest details. The gross and appreciable change can be brought in a structure by working out on its finest constituents.

The assumption that mind and body work on certain principles which can be deduced and explained by scientific studies thrills most of us. All of the contemporary physics rests on two foundations. One is Albert Einstein's general relativity theory, which portrays the world on the largest of scales—stars, galaxies and the vastness of the universe itself. The other is quantum mechanics, which portrays the world on the smallest of scales—molecules, atoms, nuclei and quarks. Both these streams have an army of intrepid followers. The truth lies in the eye of the beholder, and we should render our thought process to understand and respect the big picture and the smallest details in it. True bliss lies in knowing self and the reason for the same. The natural forces tend to practice symmetry in their existence and hence are everlasting and tranquil. A problem arises when symmetry is withdrawn, may it be any calamity. I am of the belief that if we tend to minimize the friction between forces that comprise us and regulate our aura and environment, we can achieve solace of highest degree. There is no quick-fix approach; you got to understand the fact that mass is a derivative of light and light is ordered energy. So the disorders that we witness in our lives can be corrected if we take away the negativity, worry, fear, anxiety as these tend to cause disharmony in the natural symmetrical energy fields of our bodies and mind. End of turbulence would occur if we focus our poised selflessness to the causes and derive pleasure in witnessing the change that epitomize the true message of nature; its important to be in order.

Hail mercy on little angels…

Yesterday a cute kid was admitted at my hospital in extreme distressed clinical state. She was having severe breathlessness and had probably caught most virulent variety of lung infection. In view of her sick general condition, she was kept in ICU and put on injectable medications with application of BIPAP Mask (a sealed mask which delivers high flow oxygen with pressure to assist in respiration). Her face looked pale, distraught and frightened. She was seemingly in enormous agony with no clue as to what has happened to her and why. Being the center of all attention in the ICU, she gathered courage to ask one of the nurses and her question created a wave of emotional stir. She asked whether she will be able to celebrate her birthday this year (due in June 2011) with an expectant glance. Though nurses and doctors in ICU are well oriented to handle such emotional issues, the charm of her innocence caused my eyes getting welled up with tears. I deep dwelled in the thoughts of life, birth, happiness, hope and misery. Its difficult to find a single constant in the life and I was perturbed at the fact that happiness is always followed by sorrows, health by illness and life by death. Why can’t small kids and children be free from the burden of diseases? Aren’t they too small to bear the harsh realities of life to which they owe no contribution? Isn’t it unfair to bestow sound health to one little angel and to render the other one on death bed?

As medical professionals, we are supposed to provide physical and mental healing to the sufferers even if we feel like mourning high. I fuelled up the optimism of our little patient and promised her that we will celebrate her birthday in a grand way and all her friends (which included me and 2 nurses as well) would bring nice, little gifts for her. It was a depressing sight to have a cute, chubby kid connected with machines, intravenous drips fighting to survive for her own life, and quite not knowing why she has been chosen to face this holocaust. Her parents looked as sucked up of life as dry wood, wrenched in agony, praying to almighty incessantly. I decided to re-arrange my schedules and spent a fortune of time with my priceless patient. Call it faith healing or turn of lucks or medical miracle, her seemingly very bad condition responded dramatically to subjected treatment and before she could have succumbed to the labor of breathing, her body started showing improvement. She was taken out of BIPAP machine today morning and is presently very stable and continuously showing signs of improvement. Her effervescent smile and chirpy talks are keeping the hopes alive that no malady is for forever and that true faith shines amidst the hazy clouds of uncertainties. I am still lost in the labyrinthous lanes of the mystery of nature and finding my answers. I am sure almighty can’t punish someone who has just bloomed to life and the realization of this fact makes the other facet more emboldened. If it is not God who is responsible for the unseen incidents in our lives, then who or what drives us?

Hope, a marvel !

Hope is the force that enlightens a person’s real and virtual world. The turbulence gathered with burdens of anxiety, despair, and fear vanishes away when rays of hope infiltrate in the person’s domain. The juxtaposition of hope and despair is the key to appreciating and fighting for one's survival. And hope itself is not one-dimensional. Hope must work in tandem with trust, again establishing that devout bond. Hope is an innate realization of being able to survive the biggest of holocausts and to come out stronger.

Hope, if used as a medical weapon, can be surprisingly effective in aliening out a plethora of undesired physical and mental conditions. The depressed person can no longer perceive and differentiate an effective connection between a plan of action and the aim he or she has set. This, in turn, leads to a loss of self-confidence, which results in the person's depending more on others. Hope has its roots in spirituality and nothing can bolster the chances of sound health than the realization of one’s own existence. In medical world, we should give its due share of impact to spiritual health as well. If used tactically in wholesome approach, I believe we can decrease the disease burden globally. Ideally, importance of hope & spirituality should be given its share of magnitude right from the childhood as its better for a person to identify his / her own self, the earlier the better. Spirituality is the seat of hope, giving one a sense of meaning in the face of adversity. With hope, inclusive recovery becomes a pleasant possibility.
